Chelsea Flower Show
As part of their annual sponsorship of the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show, M&G Investments commissioned a suite of branded content to highlight their involvement for 2016. Chelsea has been one of the biggest annual events in the M&G sponsorship calendar, and Big Button were asked to provide production, strategy and distribution to make the video content associated with the event more successful than in previous years.
We captured the development of the garden in the run up to the show, working with award-winning designer Cleve West to bring his concept to the screen for those who couldn’t attend. We then filmed at the event, capturing the real beauty of the finished garden, time lapse of its construction, and several celebrity vox pops.
The development of our distribution strategy for the project involved working closely with M&G’s media and social agencies, and the suite of videos – including short ‘social’ edits - was successful in driving increased traffic to the event landing page. The content achieved significantly more exposure than in previous years, with over 32,000 views within two days, and a view rate in excess of 100% - indicating that viewers returned to the clips more than once.
