Client: Screen West Midlands and The UK Film Council
Digishorts is an annual scheme that offers new film-makers a chance to develop and produce short films with support from Screen WM and the UK film Council.
Big Button's in-house producer/director Neil Gregory edited The Surfer, written and directed by Dominic Coleman (Special People, Psychoville) who also takes the lead role.
The documentary-style comedy follows 'Michael', a 41 year old accountant from Solihull whose mid-life crisis - expressed through an obsession with surfing - takes its toll on family life.
