Renowned for its commitment to the treatment of alcoholism, Mimosa Recovery commissioned a promotional film for its range of specialist centres. The target audience was incredibly wide – from those burdened with the disease and their families, right through to GPs, Social Workers and Police Officers – so the film was re-versioned for the differing needs of these groups.
A great deal of sensitivity and tact was required when dealing with the film’s participants, and the rapport which Big Button director Neil Gregory formed with his interviewees elicits incredibly powerful and moving stories. The finished film was distributed via DVD, web streaming and YouTube.
