About us Big Button are a digital production company, from video and effects to Flash games, web applications and iPhone apps - and delivering video online with Buto - our own online video platform.

Buto is a web application built totally in-house at Big Button and now in use by thousands of websites around the world, and delivering millions of videos each day.

The role and your skills

Working in the web team and reporting to the Technology Director, this role is focused on building, testing, refining and deploying world-class web and interactive products.

As well as working on client projects, you'll be a key member of the Buto team helping with client and server side upgrades and fixes. Educated to degree level – or with relevant alternative experience, you will be a creative powerhouse. You’ll know the web inside-out; from emerging technologies to how people actually use sites. You might even have played with iOS development and built an app.

Able to communicate at the highest level with the team, clients and with partner companies, you’ll be diplomatic, resilient to stress and able to work collaboratively.

Core skills: LAMP stack, jQuery, OO practices, Flash (AS 3)

Highly desirable: CodeIgniter, iOS development, advanced database skills. Knowledge of large-scale web applications.
