Around 40% of UK adults watch TV on a computer, laptop or handheld device, according to market research group Gfk on behalf of ITV.
The study of over 2,800 UK adults found 33% planned to watch more TV this Christmas, while one in seven claim that the increase in choice due to online catch-up services mean there will be less arguments over the festive period.

From a marketing point of view, it’s clearer than ever: you need to be online.
